Are Young People Staking Their Mental Health on gambling?
The English Gambling Education Hub (EGEH) has published its Insights Report following the successful event, ‘Are Young People Staking Their Mental Health on Gambling?’.
At this event, the EGEH connected with professionals to explore a crucial question: If the mental health of young people is one of the most important things they possess, why would they gamble with it?
GamCare’s Youth Advisory Board and Verity Bramwell from GamCare’s Young People’s Service were invited to discuss the best ways to support young people in this space. Additionally, Student Minds provided an external perspective on how other organisations working with young people approach gambling harm.
The event was extremely successful, and we are pleased to share the outcomes and recommendations from the session.
